TraSer FAQ

1. What is tracking and tracing?

Both terms refer to keeping track of changes of a given object. Tracking deals, primarily, with the changes of the location (or other properties) of the object itself (e.g., which places an item passes through during delivery). Tracing, on the other hand, focuses on relations the given individual enters with other entities, for example, which other objects a work-piece is combined with during a production process.
